Greenland Mineral Occurrence Map - GMOM
GMOM is an online version of a dynamic Greenland Mineral Occurrence Map. The facility runs in ArcIMS GIS and gives access to maps of Greenland showing positions of mineral occurrences plotted on different backgrounds such as topography, geology, geochemistry and geophysics. The maps can be manipulated using standard GIS operations. The database behind the map holds information about some 700-800 sites and a subset of the attributes can be used for searches based on e.g. area, commodity, etc. For all sites, a brief description can be read on-screen or downloaded.
